March 11-12, 2026 The 2026 Federal Committee on Statistical Methodology (FCSM) Conference at the Suitland Federal Center in Suitland, MD. As part of this conference, the PCIG is organising a mixer at Kirwan’s on the Wharf for March 12 starting at 5:30 – see here for more details.
May 1, 2026 NYC Privacy Day 2026, an in-person event organized and hosted this Spring by the NYU Tandon Center for Responsible AI (NYU R/AI).
June 1-2, 2026 TPDP 2026 (Theory and Practice of Differential Privacy), Boston. This year there will be a special session on Differential Privacy for Health and submissions aligned with this theme are especially encouraged. The deadline to submit a 4 page abstract is February 18, 2026 AoE.
June 24-25, 2026 The 8th Annual PrivaCI Symposium, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. The aim of this symposium is to foster interaction among diverse communities of research and practice using Contextual Integrity to reason about privacy, and to design and evaluate, craft regulation, and generate formal logics for privacy. The deadline for submissions is February 13, 2026 AoE.

February 9-10, 2026 The 2026 Privacy and Public Policy Conference (PPPC) program committee is now accepting submissions. Following the success of the inaugural PPPC in 2024 this event will bring together privacy experts, researchers, data stewards, data practitioners, and public policymakers. See here for further information. The deadline for submissions is December 15, 11:59 PM EST, 2025.
January 28, 2026 SoDa Symposium In Celebration of Privacy Week: “Balancing Statistical and Non-Statistical Uses of Federal Data: Privacy, Governance, and Public Trust,” with speakers Dr. Sallie Ann Keller, Michael B. Hawes, and Alexandra Wood (online). See here for more details and to register.
August 2-7, 2025 JSM 2025: There will be 22 sessions related to privacy and confidentiality, including an introductory overview lecture on data privacy and statistical science to be presented by Jerry Reiter and Claire Bowen. The PCIG JSM mixer will be held Tuesday, August 5 at 5:30PM in the Omni Hotel Room H-Cumberland 3. Come learn about PCIG and mingle with colleagues! September 13-14, 2024 Join us for the inaugural Privacy and Public Policy Conference to be held September 13 and 14, 2024 at the Georgetown Massive Data Institute in Washington, DC. The program will include a range of speakers, presentations, and networking opportunities all focused on the intersection of privacy law, privacy technology, and public policy challenges. August 6, 2024 JSM 2024: PCIG Program Chair Michael Hawes has compiled a list of 24 sessions related to privacy and confidentiality.
